Every year, the Solann Dream Team accompanies Solann and other multihandicapped children and young people in sporting sporting events including running races. Here are the "classic" annual races in which the association regularly participates.
EcoTrail de Paris Ile de France (March)
Runners from the Solann Dream Team took part in their first edition in 2013.
The course is hilly, with several distances on offer (18 km, 30 km, 50 km or 80 km).
A team from the Solann Dream Team regularly takes part in this beautiful race through the woods and forests of western Paris (with steep gradients and muddy, slippery sections).
However, all runners and children are always enthusiastic and motivated to repeat thetrail experience.
20 km of Maroilles (May)
A Ch'ti Dream Team is in place to take part regularly in this not-to-be-missed event in the North of France.
The atmosphere is festive and convivial, with the beautiful Avesnois countryside as the backdrop.
Les Foulées de la Gentilhommière (June)
Every two years, the Foulées de la Gentilhommière, organized by the Cap'Devant association (regional association for people with cerebral palsy), uses a Joëlette for the disabled children and on foot for the hundred or so volunteers to:
-offer a sporting experience to children who are unable to take part.
- to create a social link between able-bodied and disabled people.
- to organize an educational project at La Gentilhommière, a specialized establishment run by the Cap'Devant association, for disabled children and the establishment's team of professionals.
The Solann Dream Team runners never miss this event.
Course de la Saint Gilles (September)
10km or 20km race in the Bois d'Arcy woods (headquarters of our association).
It's an opportunity for team members and the children and young people the association supports to enjoy a pleasant outing outing in the forest in a great atmosphere and to take advantage of the end-of-summer weather...
This race has become an annual event for the Solann Dream Team.
Paris - Versailles (September)
This beautiful race of Paris-Versailles (16 km) is one of the most popular races in the Paris region, accessible to a wide public of runners of all levels.
The growing number of Dream Team participants means that two children or young people can take part in the race.
This race is an annual rendezvous for the Solann Dream Team.
Boulogne Billancourt half-marathon (November)
The majority of the association's members now live in Boulogne-Billancourt.
So it's only natural that the Solann Dream Team should take part in this easily accessible easy-to-access race with a smooth course for over (21km) for over 15 years.
