November 19, 2017: Boulognes-Billancourt half marathon
Once again 10 team members and 1 team member from the Solann Dream Team accompanied Solann on the course of the Boulogne-Billancourt half marathon, which gets better every year. The weather was cool but the sun shone brightly, and it was a great time shared in a festive atmosphere.
September 24, 2017: Paris-Versailles.
The Solann Dream Team members took part in the classic Paris-Versailles race, as they have done every year for the past 10 years. The September 24, 2017 edition was colorful, brimming with good humor, shared pleasures and smiles. A big thank you to our sources of our motivation, little Élouan for his first participation in an association activity with his Dad, aunt and uncle and to big Solann always ready to regale us with his smiles. The sun shone all along the 16.3 km of this legendary course. Congratulations to Clémence, Émilie, Ewa, Alban, Aurélien, Benoît and Éric, who ran under the association's colors for the first time.
June 18, 2017: Course des Héros in Saint Cloud.
This year, the Solann Dream Team association lent its friendly support to the Cap'Devant! association, which accompanies children and adults with disabilities in its 20 establishments in the Paris region, including the "La Gentilhommière" center where Solann has been welcomed for 10 years. To support Cap'Devant! and finance its actions, the team raised funds and took part in the Course des Héros (www.coursedesheros.com) on June 18 in the Parc de Saint Cloud for a 10km race. It was a day and a race like we like more and more: friendly, relaxed, sporty but not too sporty, supportive and happy.
In short, a morning to match the weather - radiant! Bravo and thank you, team members, for this wonderful adventure.
June 1, 2017: Trophée des entreprises in Saint Quentin en Yvelines.
A team of six runners from the Laboratoire national de métrologie et d'essais supported the Solann Dream Team association by taking part in the Trophée des entreprises 2017 organized by the town of Saint Quentin en Yvelines. It was in the events (running, orienteering, rafting, cycling and relay) that the two teams defended the association's colors and developed their team spirit and sense of solidarity. Our thanks to them for this fine example.
April 07, 2017: Handiday Day at Bois d'Arcy
On the initiative of the youth animation department of the municipality of Bois d'Arcy, the second edition of Arcydays was organized from April 5 to 7, 2017 during the Easter vacations. Themed activities were offered to the town's young people over the three days. The third day, called Handi'day, presented and practiced handisport activities and disciplines: boccia, fencing, torball, zumba, sensory courses, blowpipe, showdon... With the association "Les Bouchons de l'espoir", Solann Dream Team team members introduced many participants to Joelette, adapted wheelchairs and wheelchairs equipped with arm traction. This wonderful initiative raised awareness among many children of the possibilities of practicing sport despite disability, with others, like others. Many thanks to the youth workers and the many volunteers for their precious time.
March 26, 2017: Foulées Aglatiennes
The actions of the Solann Dream Team unfold!
On March 26, 2017, while one team supported a child in a race in Ville d'Avray, another team accompanied little Mélie and Solann for the 11 km Foulées Aglatiennes in the Arpajonnais deep in Essonne. It was a thrill for little Mélie, who discovered, alongside Solann and her grandmother, the pleasure of team running.
Many thanks to the organizers for their warm welcome and to the ten team members for their dynamic and warm participation.
November 05, 2017: Nice-Cannes Marathon.
Great first for association team members: running the 42 km of a marathon with a child in a racing stroller! This beautiful expedition in the south enabled 6 team members to experience this adventure with Solann on Sunday, November 5, 2017. Despite unseasonably inclement weather, the race took place in a great atmosphere as we skirted the seaside from Nice to Cannes, passing through Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes Juan-les-Pins and Vallauris Golfe-Juan. The team was delighted to have reached the beautiful beach of Cannes without breaking a sweat, and is very proud of its performance. Well done to the finishers, relay runners and Solann for this achievement.
July 14, 2017: Mountain hike with an overnight stay in a refuge.
The idea of a mountain hike had been brewing for many years before it came to fruition this summer. With a team of eight adults and eleven children/teenagers, Solann set off to climb the heights of Annecy through the Thônes state forest to spend a night at the Larrieux refuge at an altitude of 1525m. It goes without saying that climbing steep hiking trails, even with a Joelette and a lot of motivation, was no easy task. Thanks to the energy and enthusiasm of everyone around Solann, the challenge was brilliantly overcome, and we all enjoyed the wonderful reward of being able to admire Haute Savoie and Lake Annecy from above. The experience reinforced our collective feeling that, in the face of disability, anything is possible!
May 20, 2017: Raising awareness among CP and CM2 children
At the initiative of Alizée, Solann's little sister, an awareness-raising action was organized for CP-CM2 class pupils at the Jean-Louis Barrault school in Bois d'Arcy. Handicap, difference, acceptance of others and living together were explained to the children through discussions. Many thanks to teachers Mesdames Barthe and Élmi for enabling this wonderful encounter between children and disability.
May 20, 2017: Foulées de la Gentilhommière at the Haras de Jardy.
The specialized centers for disabled children in Marnes-La-Coquette, Sèvres and Vélizy organized a special day for children, with races in the morning and a moment of relaxation in the afternoon with a country picnic. On this sunny morning, some twenty Solann Dream Dream team members and their teenagers/children accompanied Solann's little friends on the 1.6 km course in the park of the Haras de Jardy for this new edition of the Foulées de la Gentilhommière.
Emma, Gabin, Youness, Juliette Laurine, Mouna, Solann, Rihab and Alexandra seemed delighted by the experience, and gave us their best smiles, their joy and their encouragement.
It was, as every year, a great moment of shared happiness.

March 26, 2017: La Dagovéranienne
The Solann Dream Team's actions unfold!
While one team accompanied two children on a race at the other end of Essonne, another team set off at the same time with little Juliette for the 9 km Dagovéranienne de Ville d'Avray. A first for some, a repeat for others, it was Juliette, all smiles, who made the most of the event in the sunshine and with the support of the spectators. A big thank you to the team member and crew for this fine representation of the Association's actions.
March 18, 2017: Ecotrail de Paris.
Once again this year, a great team (5 team members and 12 crew members) from the Solann Dream Team association accompanied Solann on the 19 km of the beautiful EcoTrail course on March 18, 2017. Superb atmosphere as usual and great spirit of cohesion around Solann in the efforts. Well done to all and thanks to the organizers.
